How much wattage are you looking for? I have a hifonics bx1000d for sale. I have it listed at 250 but Id let it go to a friend for 200

If 1000 watts is too much or too little I can track down others for you.

Whatever, I get this from everybody, and I'm getting really fucking tired of explaining it.

If somebody knows what you have, they will take it. Somebody knew exactly what I had, because of how they took it. They didn't mess anything else up, they knew exactly where everything was, that the amps were behind the seats, all that.

When I lived at the apartment, I had two other stereos stolen. One was from my ZX2. Again, they opened the unlocked door, and tried to pry it out with a screwdriver. It left gashes in the dash that didn't heal for a long time. They also got the Civic -- with a crowbar on the hatch. The other cars around mine had glass broken out.

If I'm going to lose the stereo, I'm going to lose the stereo. That's the price I pay for owning one in a crappy neighborhood. If I'm going to be dumb enough to lock the car, then not only do I lose the stereo, but I pay for at least a new window as well. I will not back down on this. The only solution is a garage, and I have one now.

I agree, my stereo is in plain view from my hatch, most the time i leave my doors unlocked cause if someone wants to steal my shit, i'd rather them open the door and just take it rather than break a window and leave me with another thing to replace. I back you up on this insta.

My system is too much of a hassle for people to steal. It takes roughly 20 minutes to get the box out when rushing. Amps and sub are held down with brackets and 3 different kinds of specialty screws.

I realize people could still steal, and that if they cant steal it they will damage it. But...it honestly doesn't matter that much to me because my insurance will cover it. I've already talked to them about it and it is on my claim. They said if I change anythign just to keep my receipts. Because I also stated that I change it regularly.

You can also cut or tuck the pull tabs on the zx2 seats as well.

And there is literally no way to get to my system or get it out through the trunk opening.

ok now i am interested in seeing your audio set up.

haha, Ill get pics before I tear it all out

+1 for leaving the car unlocked. I NEVER lock the Miata. I don't want them cutting the top to get it. Plus, I leave nothing of value in the passenger compartment. There is no trunk release either. The Miata sleeps in the garage.

I do lock my Hemi Ram. But it's all stock.

i use my factory alarm

I never lock mine either. Whats the point if they want it they will take it. This is coming from someone who was the victim of a carjacking.
