Well everybody, i bought me a red 2000 ford zx2 s/r. Its got 91000 miles on it, and the only thing that is wrong with it is, the front bumper has some paint chipped off and the hood has a little bit comin' off also, but thats it. everything else is fine. all new tires. interior is really nice, and no chips on the rims. Engine runs good. tranny is fine. engine bay is pretty clean. its in really good shape. I think what im goin' to to with my car now is just store it in my garage, and put it in car shows or something, and just use my s/r for a d/d. im not to sure right now. I'm just happy I'm gettin' an S/R!. Lets the mods begin!!!.... thumbsup.gif .

keep it stock auto x it with some good tires!

Sounds Fun!

mod it you'll take it out of its class, in its stock class it should run pretty dam good. I believe you can change your airfilter , tires and some other stuff. Seach kctuners for old post of what class it runs in, I can't remember off top of my head, then get with Rodney on what you can and can not do to stay in that class.

Nice, so does this mean that you'll be selling all those S/R parts you got from the junkyard that you still haven't put to good use?

Sounds cool I need to see it!
arden
jeremy- did you get the pcm by chance?
Pimpinzx2
Yes i did infact. It's CWQ3

The one im getting has NGP0, im not sure if thats good or bad?
arden
i think CWQ3 is better but dont quote me on that. i was prepared to make you an offer for one of them but i got lucky and picked up LXQ1 from a mtx at the yard this week, considering i will be running an SCT chip, the PCM doesnt make a difference for me.
Pimpinzx2
the car im getting has NGP0, I looked inside the door. is that a good or bad thing?.

dont always take there advice. They've had some wacky idea's and thoughts in the past.

The problem that I remember from TeamZX2 is that nobody likes to go against the crowd. They aren't confident enough in themselves. However, dubs does enjoy the pee-oh ... so who knows.
jdrzx2
You know, there are people that like to go against the crowd. I get flamed for it a lot.
