does n2o have to be a predesigned app or can it just be ran thru the intake tube?

hey mike, i think your car is a lil too old to be running Nos... you will blow the hell outta your motor. plus your car is a boat, its heavy, nos wont help much... you dont see nos on caddy's for a reason... sorry, im not meaning to diss on ya, but getting some pimp rims and a good stereo system would be a better investment. and it would make your car bad ass too

he could use nos for fun purposes, we found this old ford tempo awd at a junkyard in cali and we put a 250 shot in it and took that badass off road. it didn't make it back after it's encounter with a ten foot drop. my friends and i almost didn't make it back either.

It's like this...
Nitrous raises compression just like any other forced induction. If you run it through the intake, you're running a dry kit. That means that you're not adding any extra gas. Thus, leaning out your mix. Dry kits are very cheap but are VERY dangerous to your motor. It's the same thing as over boosting. Not to mention the risk of a nitrous burp. All in all, I wouldn't do it unless you have plans of rebuilding.

not completely true...they sell wet kits that are called fogger kits. and they come with a nozzle into the intake. It has one hookup for gas and one hookup for the no2. They mix and are wet...AKA wet kit
still a really horrible idea for a nice 929

i wasnt really thinkn of using it, i just applied for a show car sponsorship and i thought it might look nice. i was thinkn of the sneeky pete system. maybe a two bottle two stage set up. the sneeky pete system is a bottle that only holds 10 oz. and about the sponsor ship thing i am just curious and thouhgt i would see if i could even get anything. prolly not tho.
sneaky pete is a dry setup but it can be made to be wet through modding the kit it comes with
Also its called sneaky pete because it is typically hidden up under the dash and the install is usually seamless so noone knows you have it....kinda pointless for a show car...

yeah i know but it coulld be in view but the point of the sneeky pete is its cheaper than some of the other stuff out there. idk it was just an idea.

BUT if you are going for show, and want a NOS bottle to add some bling and "OH-AH's" ... a tiny 10oz bottle will get you laughed at. its a sneaky pete because its SUPPOSED to be hidden. grab a 5lb bottle... its a medium size and should add the necessary bling without killing your pocket

I've never been out to a car show (and I've been to plenty of em both as spectator and participant) and seen where a NOS bottle helped a car achieve any recognition... especially in the kinda car you have. Unless you just want one thats cool but I wouldn't do it for show. 90% of the time its all about paint, interior, engine (bein clean and well detailed), and electronics. Performance of a car doesn't usually sway judges trust me.

ding ding ding
I think a nice big ass 15lb bottle polished to the hilt would be cool looking though...even if it is empty
Or you could get 2 of those bazooka basstubes and paint and or polished those....just a thought
