where could i find a phoenix gold octaine 8.0:1 amp? its the 800 watt mono block.
ebay. You can find anything on ebay. And thats not really that rare of an amp so it should be easy to get a hold of new.

how come you get the older ones?
For a few reasons. I will list them in order as to the most important to the least.
1. sound clarity, some of the cleanest sounding amps
2. very very underated, for example my usa50 was rated at 160 it benched like 230 before it started clipping
3. quality parts that were made and built in the united states of america
4. they are rare
5. they are ugly and ugly amps don't get stolen ;)

is phoenix gold still a good brand? i know they used to be awsome but i heard they have gone down hill. i have the qxe108 10 inchers and i plan to keep them as long as i can the are awsome subs. but i want to stay with phoenix gold. but if they arent what they used to idk what to do then. is PG a import company? and when can i see some pics of your latest setup? :P
Old PG was good. The last good line of amps PG had was the xenon or X series. The rest after that are imports and not the best. Don't get me wrong they aren't the worst but they deffinetly are not even on the charts as far as top quality goes.
I plan to continue to run us amps. For my current setup I plan to buy 2 new us amps. 1 for the components and one for the 3 subs. I haven't even really started on the setup yet though
