I keep telling him that 14.9 is not fast. I told him his car is quick but by no means considered fast. He seems to think that I am holding something against him. I know on other car sites if you were to state that you're fast b/c you run a 14.9 that EVERYONE would bash on you. I'm not trying to bash on him, just letting him know that in the his time is not considered fast.

You are not fast until you break 13.9. If you cannot claim a 13 second pass you are not fast
I would say the defining number between quick and peppy would be 14.5
I think the defining number between peppy and slow is 15.3
And slow and balls slow is 16.3

Of course there are different breeds of fast as well. Like damn fast, holy shit fast, and the dreaded uber fast ^_^ :lol:

But no edging the border of 15 is not fast at all. And you will never once catch me saying my car is fast. It is not. And it will stay that way.

Say what u want but i make under 100 hp and i am in the 14's high 14's but none the less its a 14.
And the guy i am having tune my car BJ he designed turbo edit and he is telling me an easy 14.5 with just tuning.

i dont consider anything to be "fast" until its low 13's to mid 12's

I don't think you're really quick until there isn't a stock car out there that can take you. At 14.9 at the track, you'd get beat on by a stock DSM on the street. And you can forget even a mildly modded one. As dubs said, it's peppy at best.

For the mod list, being untuned, and relative low displacement (flames!) ... I would consider 14.9 "fast" for that car. The exact same time is considered piss slow for a built V8. But, the V8's 11.3 second run is considered piss slow for an alcohol car, and so forth. It's all relative, and IMO that should be accounted for.

There's always a faster car than what someone's built. I wish my car ran a 14.9. Hell, I wish I could say I have a 15-second timeslip for it. I have more props for someone building a 14.9 car than someone buying a 14.9 car.

I also have props for someone who can show props likewise to a slower car (rather than rambling nonsense on kcsr about the new guy they just met :angry: ).

I'm going to pretty much explain this very bluntly, this is childish, I'm about to ban everyone involved in this post, and yes I mean everyone. Its one thing to post asking if 14.9 is fast, but to copy and paste your fucking pm's is just stupid, childish and ignorant. Go do that shit on kcsr, teamzx2 or whatever other bullshit forum you guys are on, they seem to love it there. I dont want it here and I wont tolerate it here. Kctuners is part of my family, I dont let my brothers and sisters act like idiots why the fuck would I allow it here???
