how hard is it to get a title?

i don't know about missouri, but i think you have to fill out a missing title form with your signature and the sellers signature on it. if you buy the car i think you need a bill of sale from the current owner notarized, plus proof (usually in the system) that they were the previous owners, and once all the fees are due you file for the missing title, you don't need thier signature. i also think that if the car is from out of state that you need that states title before you can register the car here, so you have to do all the previous stuff mentioned above in or from that state.
