Hey does anyone know where I can find an SVT focus head I am trying to find one to get more power out of the zetec engine so I can then put a focus turbo kit on my zx2.

well i doubt you will ever see one at the yard. your best bet is to fork over the $800 or so that it would cost to buy one from a high end focus sight

svt, focus, and zx2 heads all have the same bolt pattern. I'd go a ford racing cnc'd head.

it may have the same bolt pattern but it is built completely different. as far as i have heard from the focus community pnp zx2 head is better than a focus head but not better than a pnp'd svt head. it also alows you to have a much larger variety of cams to choose from to.
i to would like to find one but i have never seen one that wasn't in use on somebodies car.

I went to a few yards today and they had nothing for zx2 or an svt head I went looking for a guage cluster and computer for a s/r and they didnt even have any zx2's it completely sucked but I did find a 3000 GT vr-4 for 5500 with drivers side damage runs and drives I was trying to decide if I should by it or not any ideas.

Zx2 head and zetec focus head are the same flow, with vct and a few sensors diff
Svt head is a diff casting that has better flow on the intake side, and larger intake valves.
The ford racing cnc'd focus head, is a stock focus head beefed in a few area's ,cnc'd, and larger intake and exhaust valves. its IS the best head you can get on the market. It flows better then any pnp job you can get, the cnc'd head can have a very very minor pnp to it to get a tad better results
cnc'd head > rest
btw the the 1100 for the fr head, is a good price. Go look up heads for 4 bangers...and see how much cnc'ing cost, yet alone testing, flowed and everything else.

you know, for that price i think i might just buy one. i was thinking of buying the head off focus power for 1200 anyway.

Its a good idea because then you would have a focus bolt pattern on the exhaust manifold and you could put a focus turbo kit on it.
