Yay for a snow finally. I hope it keeps freezing raining on top tonight like it said so I don't have to go to work tomorow. It'll be the first real snow we had all year. It's about time!

Dan went to a meeting 45 minutes away in it tonight...

We got snow last night, the wife got the jeep stuck, but I was able to drive it out, she just got nervous

ya. I havent gotten stuck. The snow isnt quite that bad. I think we have like 3-4" and it is ice covered.

Hope it stays this way till lunch tomorow

I can get around just fine now with my skinny tires. It's fun :lol:

Stuck for her is a little different than stuck for me, She slammed on the brakes slid off the road walked home and I went got the jeep and drove it home.

I cannot wait til the snow goes away! This cold weather is driving me crazy! How crazy you ask? Crazy enough to give me a sore throat/runny nose, and no energy.

i cant wait for it to stop snowing as well all these chemicals are starting to eat at my paint, i have washed my car for last 4 weeks straight

K our snow turned to Ice chunks. All of the snow turned to Ice. I went driving yesterday when I took off work. And yea, it was at about the hieght of my floorpan and premade grooves for tires(YAY...but not really)

The entire time I could hear my exhaust scraping along the *snow* and my shifter kept bouncing up and down.

Yea not so fun. Dan said he'd want his awd back to go snow drifting. I said it wouldnt be a good idea. If for the off chance you could find a plowed area chances are you will hit that one chunk that will really F up your ride.

All in all I am tired. I was out shoveling and snow blowing for the better of the morning

your months behind we started getting bad snow here first of dec. Right now we just have a bit of ice and a few inches of snow here and there (some drifts are up to a foot deep....yay love working in snow)

other then that the last 2 week haven't been bad... except for the 10 degree weather.

Yea up until now we just had really cold weather with nothing to show for it

Monday night, on her way home from the high school basketball game, my daughter Amy (17) slipped off Barry Rd. into a ditch, just east of Amity Rd. It had really been snowing for about an hour, so it was pretty slick. Also, the ditch was very muddy since it had rained most of the day. She couldn't get free, so I changed into winter clothes and went to check on the situation. While waiting, Amy said a car lost control and almost slid into her.

I saw several other cars in the ditch on Barry Road near Park Hill HS. When I got there, I got Amy and the other girl out of the car, into my truck, and we pulled around the corner into a driveway on Amity, where the road was more level. The car was in a bad spot, because it was over the crest of a hill and there wasn't much visibility to approaching traffic. However, the car was completely off the pavement and in mud. My attempts to rock the car and get it out where unsuccessful.

While waiting in the car for a tow, another car lost control at the top of the hill, spun around, and hit my car. It ended up facing east (in the westbound lane) and the driver’s rear quarter panel hit my car's drivers rear quarter panel. It wasn’t a very hard hit (no air bag deployment), but my car got the worst end of the deal.

No injuries – so it's a good thing. The other car's driver was a teenage girl, and we've exchanged insurance information. Her insurance will be paying for fixing my car - they've accepted liability.

I don't have an estimate yet, but the car is at Carstar in Parkville on 45 highway.

I don't like this snowstorm. :(

I just got done playing in the jeep, I didn't even know it was supposed to snow today!

yeah all of a sudden today i was working at Quik Trip, I finally had time to look out side and there was like a freaking inch of snow i was like the weather guys didnt say there was suppose to be snow.... WTF???? Well after shufling for and hour I went back inside and then took a smoke brake and about that 5 minutes the ground was covered again so I made my clerks clean it up. But cheer up everyone there saying its suppose to be 50+ on sunday for missouri!!!

O by the way got my valve cover powder couted looks sweet!

Update on the PA front. We have a good 4" of ice. It is not snow. It is ice. Good news...if someone falls a sleep driving it will hold them in the lane and wake them up :shrug:

Ice like that can really tear up a car! Be careful in PA.

I talked with CarStar this morning. They'll be fixing the Avenger, and we should get it back the middle of next week.

Yea I cringe when I have to straddle it because my car is too low for it. Dan can attest to it. It sucks
