i am serrously considering putting a small shot....maybe 35? on my zx2. does anyone know anyone who has done it? and im not sure if its a good idea, but i would like to know how big of a shot i could run on my stock motor with no problems....

35 shot would be a good choice, I've seen alot of ppl run 35 often and 55 shot for track. I've also seen other run 75 shot but have problems later with the engine. I've even seen a 125, 150, 175 on a stock engine...it blew on the 175....guy was doing it to see how far the motor would go.

how much of a difference does it make if you get a wet shot or a dry shot? i heard that a dry shot is alot easier to install (correct me if im wrong)....i just want sompthing that i can take off later if i decide to sell my car....so do you think a dry shot would be the way to go for me?
inis
me personally I'd run a wet shot

man you need to fix your exhaust leak first. it will make a big diff. plus itll sound a lot better than it does now.

Dry shots aren't a good idea when you have wet shots available. I don't know if you know what the difference is but dry don't add fuel where as wet shots do. The danger is you run the risk of leaning out and blowing up. If you need to run nitrous, run a wet kit. It's harder to install and more money but safer to run.

street_tuner87
i suggest a resonator as well
street_tuner87
so what about this friday man. still want to do this or are you afraid? lol

i'll add nitrous if somebody buys me the kit biggrin.gif

i'll pay for it if you'll run a 300 shot, so when it destroys your engine i'll just hook it up to my car.

lol...i'll run a 75....or maybe even a 100
jdrzx2
i'm serious dude, maybe we can make your car into a ten second car just like the fast and the furious and try to avoid wrecking at the end of the run, as far as your engine goes, i think it will be toast right after you leave the starting line, along with your tranny.

don't worry we can find another engine in the junkyard for you thumbsup.gif

100 shot I wouldn't do based off how I see you drive. I'd go 75, if that.. me personally i'd go 50.

I wanna watch him blow it.. I be he can hit 13's on a 125 shot.
jdrzx2
i bet he could to, i still want to see one run a 300 shot. that tempo ran like a beast out of hell with 5 people in the car on a 250.
street_tuner87
