here are some pics of the welds and roll bar before it has the rest of the parts welded to it. i might get a free set of cam lock sparco harnesses with the roll bar, i have to call or go up there today to find out.

here is the finished product on thier end of the board. i still have to do a lot of cleanup in the back of the car and get everything painted.

that harness only cost me 5 bucks, there is a crotch strap that i haven't put on there yet.

nice! i like it! can you tell a huge difference in the cars stiffness?

the car is a little slower, i haven't driven hard enough to get a real big noticable change. plus the car was impounded last night so i won't be doing any driving till monday.

what did you do?

i got caught spectating a street racing event. i also had a warrant out for my arrest for an old speeding ticket, i talked to a judge last week and he gave me until the 20th to pay for it and i guess he forgot to have the warrant lifted. so when the cops got to me i had to have my car impounded and got arrested. i ended up paying the fine for the ticket since i had the money and they let me go with a unattended vehicle ticket. i was going to be booked with:
parking on the wrong side of the road
defective rear view mirror
spectating a street race
aiding and abbeding criminals, because i wouldn't give the names and car descriptions of the other street racers i was with.

all in all it was a great night i have never talked to a cop in such a foul way and gotten away with it. and i would much better pay a impound fee than the fees for the last two charges up there. i got off with that because they found that my warrant was supposed to be lifted and they would have to give me back the car but i would have gotten all those charges so i agreed to let them keep the car in exchange for the unattended vehicle ticket.

wow, was it a sting operation or you just the unlucky guy the cop went after?

i was just the unlucky guy. if you want you can give me a ride on monday to pick my car up.
