first pic is not the correct way to do it, it does work but will wear the belt out over time, the second pic is the correct way to do this mod. I'll update current pics of the mod when I get them.
I have af/x UDP , this belt fits perfectly with it being dead center on the tensioner.Gates Micro-V part # k060480 (which is a 48 inch belt) Gates belt is the way to go since they have a nice warraunty.
My rack is from a escort pony, you also need to swap out the steering joint as the pony one is about 2 inches to short. To swap them out you need a torq's bit.

I have, I have no a/c and no p/s....I love it
slow speeds it is a work out, and if you have to move quickly cause of something, hope you have both hands free.

My ZX2 is the only P/S vehicle I own ... and it's not nearly as fun as other cars in terms of steering.
Plus, you're not supposed to turn the wheel when you're stopped. You should always be moving, else you'll scrub the wheels.

You're exactly right. It wears flat parts into your tires.

will taking the belt off the a/c and the p/s hurt the pumps themselves or any other part of it incase i ever wanted to put it back on? how does this help in terms of acceleration and gas milage?

I doubt you could get the belt to route with them in the way.
It's much better (on the car, and yourself) to remove them entirely ...

you won't be able to undo the p/s pump without removing the steering rack, by undo the pump only will cause to fatal damage to the steering parts/and or car
the a/c you might be able to just undo the belt around it, i'll have to look and see if I think it will clear.
by doing this setup its making the car feel entirely different, I haven't had any second thoughts about it. Only thing I can say if you drive crazy, you're reaction time is slower as the steering is harder to turn slow driving, if you have no arm muscle, dont even do the p/s delete, all though I have had a female drive it and she did just fine.
rating 1-10, 10 being the best the mod (both a/c and p/s delete)
are a 9.5
things to take into consideration:
No a/c = hotter car
with sunroof its not bad at all
but with sunroof, girlies hair fly everywhere depends how bitchy your women are.
if you have no sunroof, they're a big difference in the cars interior heat, I'd probally have second thoughts about it with no sunroof.
