You have a bigger chance getting bit by the neighbors poodle than that snake. Roswell, BTW is a 4 ft. Ball or Royal Python and is as gentle as a lamb unless you have pink ears and whiskers.

Snakes are neat...however they creep me out.

Yeah I used to be afraid of snakes. Then one day, at the poker party, Lynell brought out Roswell (the one I'm wearing), and made me hold her. She started out at the very tip of my hand, one finger, with my arm fully outstretched, and a spoon in the other hand, ready to defend myself against her. Because, of course, she was extremely dangerous, poisonous, slimy, hissing, and ready to eat my face.
By the end of the night, she had discovered that my neck was warm, she was not, and had happily curled around me. I've loved those snakes ever since, and always handle them whenever I'm over there. There isn't much bravery about it, really.

The first snake that bites me unprovoked will have some problems assuming you don't separate us quickly. I understand if Roswell bites me if I'm smacking her head around, but if the blood python just hauls up and nips a piece of my arm off while I'm typing, he's in for a throw against the wall.

Its not that it will bite unprovoked. It is just that you will have to be more on your toes when holding it. If handled enough it will become as tame as a ball python.
