My buddy has a 99 zx2 (with the hot pack), and it has a limiter of 105mph. Question is what can he do to remove it.(change ecu...?)

hks has a limiter remover. not sure what its called, i looked it up but it was a while ago, just yahoo or google hks and go through there products its universal but some however are specific. specify whether auto or manual. they are two different products.

Pm insta, he knows the procedure. Its like a 10 dollar mod if that. I dont remember it, my zx2 didn't come with a governor hehe.

Removing the governor is cheap with an MTX, it's only $3 (or less). The cheapie mod doesn't work with the ATX, and he will need a chip.
