I want to take welding classes, I've wanted to learn for a long time now. I think it can be very useful at one point or another in my life.

I've found http://www.kckats.com/ce/welding.htm

is there anything better, or even closer to where I live?
I'm southern JoCo.

Anyone want to take a class with me?

I took a class over at JCCC on welding. Didn't learn too much, but got the basic type of welding down. A LOT of lab time. I have a HUGE welding textbook I could part with for like $15. Its a $100 book.

do they offer an advanced class so I can learn "more" . I want to learn how to actaully weld, not hear about it.. if that makes sense.

Well...lab time is doing it. So like 90% of the time you are actually welding. And they do offer advanced courses.

What type of welding are you interested in taking?

mig / tig , something that I can weld my IC pipes with and make custom car parts with (catch can's, custom oil pan for a project, exhaust.. etc)

mig is easy, tig not so much. I can teach you how to mig. I need to brush up on my TIG welding

that would be great, I guess we can use my car to test on hahahahaha

If I was closer I'd be all about it as a night class or something.
