idiot on ebay list a FR head for auction. I email him asking him his reserve. He reply's 800, but had shown a receipt on ebay for 875 his purchase price.

I replied "im very interested but for 900 I can get a new one, yours is used and has 10,000 miles as listed.. good luck with your sale"

he replies, oh its worth that, i'll get that.

So auction goes, i get the final bid in, for 430.00 hoping he'll want to get rid of it and offer second chance, me being the last bidder... it will go to me.

I email him letting him know, i'm still interested.

Once again he replys "i want 800 plus shipping"

I enlighten him with what its worth , being used.

he replies with a link to the most expensive place you can ..that sells the head for like 14xx.xx , I reply with a link telling him that I'm not intersted in it for 800, for 900 I can get a new one. Have a great weekend and good luck getting 800 for a head the is used, has 10000 miles on it and IS milled.

I would have gave 500 tops for it, being milled its not worth awhole lot, but being my pistons are so low in compression, i would have managed.

ya, he ended up replying to the last email I sent saying its worth so much more cause it has the milling. Just a fucking idiot, I wouldn't even want to buy from him now...

i'll find one sooner or later... if not when im done with the short block build, i'll buy one outright ...

Find one in a salvage yard?? Cross reference what they put that motor in?

Its a Ford Racing head, its basicly a cnc'd focus head with OS valves and uprated springs.

Oh. That makes it a little harder to come by second hand.. lol.
