Curious to see what brand of oil and filter you guys are runnin?

I just changed my oil today and put in 0w-40 Mobil 1 with a Mobil 1 filter. $45 oil change.
I usually put a Wix filter on, but Autozone doesn't carry them, so I tried something different.

well currently valvoline synthetic 5w30 maxlife. eventually redline 5W20 synthetic with K&N oil filter.

On the zetecs ALWAYS use a ford filter. And for oil, I use mobile 1 synthetic 5w-30

I haven't changed mine in about a year , but I haven't done very many miles (under 5k) since..I'll change it here soon though...

why only ford filter?

theres a valve in it that keeps the oil in the filter til the car is started next. Aftermarket filters claim that there's is OEM specifications. But several years ago, some where cut open to find out that there no different then any other reg filter.

If I care about the engine I use wix and Mobil 1, if not its whatever is cheapest.

This is my first time with a Mobil 1 filter, I was putting Wix and Purolator Pure One filters in before.

Motorcraft(ford) filter
5w30 royal purple

I swapped from mobil 1 5w30 and the car was more responsive so I am not switching back.

5w30 Castrol Syntc....nissan oil filter

Motorcraft and 0/5W-20 Mobil 1 synthetic. When I took the block apart for the red car, the cylinders looked very healthy, no scoring or scratches in the walls. I'm going to stick with it.

I run Mobil 1 oil and filter in the Neon.

I go with Mobil 1 full synthetic 5W-20 and a Motorcraft FL-2005 filter, which is supposed to be the best filter for ZX2s. I'm not real picky on the oil as long as it's full synthetic, so I don't always run Mobil 1.

i let the dealer handle my oil changes for now since i have 8 free ones lol.
