I'm wanting to replace my stock speakers, I'd like a component set, but willing to just get speakers and get crossovers/amps later. I'm a big fan of inifinity but all I see its 2 way sets, and some 3 way stuff. I'm wanting something thats going to sound amazing, and last a hella long time. If its expensive, I will get front now, and rear later. I'll also probally purchase the sets off ebay.

So now, help a brotha out...dunno what to get ...its like choosing what color of car you want...can be a easy or hard choice :-p

good prices, I'd still need a amp and then wire it all

kappas are great speakers but not that much better than the reference to warrant the huge price increse. Ive heard both kappa 6x8 and reference 6x8 and the clarity on both is excellent.

I am personally running refference all around. For clarity I recomend infinity big time. Kappa or reference

The thing with kappa fronts is they may not fit with the window

Pioneer arent bad either but not for lasting a long time. Eclipse are good. JL are good. ETC

my bro has 4 6x9 pioneer 4 ways, think there like 95 rms, powered by aiwa head unit. Sounds awesome but being a truck he has to crank it on the highway. One thing I dont like about the inifinity series of speakers , very few are more then 2 way, its like bass and tweeters basicly. :( I hate fosgate. JL's are ok but ugh , I dunno what Im going to get, I'll keep looking at component sets
