this sucks monkey balls. I'm so sick, I started getting sick monday on vacation in branson. It got worse tuesday and ultimately wed when I woke up.. i felt like I'd been ran over.

So I've been progressivly getting worse, today I wake up ... I have no voice. I have no energy. I made it to take a shower and clean up... felt good after the shower and got my voice back enough to talk... made it the pc and sat down..now im stuck here. I dont have the energy to move.

I haven't felt this bad in years. I have:

sore throat - no voice
no energy
ache everywhere
ears hurt (this could be from the ozark mountains though)
knees hurt (partially from being weak and other part from going through the caves in branson)


I did have a fever last night driving home , but it went away about the time we got home... i was cold but hot and that sucks driving 200 miles that way. She could have drove but we'd taken another 2 hrs (shes afraid to hit a deer) and we would have ended up in iowa or something lol.

I'll tell more about my vacation later, it was alot of fun though. I got lots of pictures.

i need a maid, my other made thats part time.....she left for errons

I'm affraid to hit a deer up there too. When we went to Springfield, MO. we were driving like 40 mph thru the hills at like 4 am...

bah still sick, maybe alittle worse on the throat, but overall i feel better...atleast right now.. give me 30 mins and i'll be spinning...

sucks, i want to be outside doing stuff too.

Try Cold-Eez lozenges. Good stuff.

Take a couple Tylenol and go to sleep. Sleep is the best medicine.

I was feeling so crappy last week. I still feel bad but its just allergies and congestion. I blame it on the weather. My body is used to the humidity and then it gets dry all at once. Yuck.

well i've been doing good all day, and then about an hour ago i started getting worse. mainly throat.
I'm going to call my boss tomorrow (i work sunday..and you all know what kind of work i do) and let him know that I could come to work, but theres no way i'll be able to be outside or with customers all day.

I dont mind going to work, but the truth is.. i have 80 hrs of sick time left for this year ..
didn't think I'd get sick and I really dont call in much.. so time to use it

Humidifier + Vicks Vapor rub on neck = no more sore throat!

hot green tea with honey in it helps for sore throats too!

ya melissa is a tea collector , she has over 100 flavors (yes i know) she gave me echinacea tea with honey in it...
it helped alot.

I feel better today, but as the night gets later ..my voice goes out. I'm going to work tomorrow...if i get worse.. i'll go home.. or I could call in , in the morning.

I don't collect tea but I have a bunch of different loose leafs shipped from china. I have the steeping cups and everything. I love loose leaf teas vs the bagged teas. Fresher and taste much better.
