ok so when you press on the brakes it makes a loud hissing noise and goes all the way down and sometimes you have to use the e brake to come to a stop. is that the brake booster or air in the lines? what could it be?
MyNeonSaysHi
What kind of car?
Sounds like you have a bleeder open. lol
Check the fluid?

Take off your wheels and inspect your brake system.
kottonmouthkings69
sounds like a brake booster goin bad or gone bad
Godzilla
Ditto it is the diaphragm in the brake booster.
street_tuner87
so just go to advance and get a booster?
street_tuner87
is that hard to replace?
inis
depends what car.
street_tuner87
never mind bought a haynes and looked at it its actually simple to replace. thanks for the help.
MyNeonSaysHi
Great thing to buy for your car.
street_tuner87
ok so i replaced the brake booster today and it is still hard to brake but its because the lines need bled though
Godzilla
Mike, if you need to bleed your brakes you should not be driving it.
inis
ya no kidding, thats really unsafe. Take it somewhere and have them bleed them for you. Shouldn't cost much, and it will be cheaper then a wreck, or your life.
street_tuner87
i know, but i have to wait a few days. i was goin to do it myself but if the bleeders brake off i want someone else to brake them. man this camaro is hella nice. a perfect project/daily driver car. and only for $250. it only has 85K on it.
inis
pics or ban
street_tuner87
