well i plan on upgrading the entire audio system in the mustang. goin all pioneer. 3.5" and 5 1/4" in the dash, 6x8 in the sides. 12" low profile sub, amp. all of it pioneer. i think it already has a pioneer head unit, but if not i will change it too. all in all, what i have looked at so far only tallies up to about a thousand dollars.
model numbers
Pioneer GM-D8400M (amplifier)
Pioneer TS-SW3041D (12" subwoofer)
Pioneer TS-A6882R (6 x 8" Speakers)
TS-A878 (3.5" speakers)
TS-D502P (5 1/4" speakers)
i am thinkin of goin with an amp kit from streetwires, but i reall dont know much about the brand. cant seem to find very many reviews about them either.
lol, this system will be better than the one i have for my car.

Sounds like the audio system is going to be more than the car.
Looks like a good setup even though I know jack about audio stuff. I keep my audio stock.

Sorry for the late response. Haven't been able to get on.
Anyway, why all pioneer? Nothing really wrong with it but there is much better for the cost, not mainstream name brand but better none the less. But it's cool if that's what you want.
For wires look into knuconceptz. Great prices, great product. Get the Kollosus series.
If you need any other help you should still have my number to text or post here.

i just chose pioneer because i have a pioneer head unit and misc speakers and i like the quality. plus i dont personally like having a mis-matched system. just have wanted a system that was all one brand for a while. i think it looks better at shows. if this was going to be a hard core comp system i would use the best products i could afford, brand be dammed. lol.
