Well, the bad news is I'm still looking for an affordable fix for the hood, but then again not concerned too much about the exterior yet. The GOOD news is I have parts coming including H&R springs, strut bars from corksport, just recieved the header today off a probe, and I have a CAI coming off an integra so I can get rid of Spectre's sad excuse of a bolt up intake. soon I'll be getting struts for those springs to set on and finally, plans are in the works for a turbo!!! Talked to House Of Boost today about it will probably get the parts and let them do the install, plus some of the parts I have to get are rare so it's kind of a treasure hunt at this point for a rare turbo manifold off of a 323 for starters. Pics might come tonight!

b6t or bpt?

those mani's are easy to come by, both engines.

good luck on the build, I know mines been a nightmare but its getting near the end of the engine build.. and time to start installing it back into the car.

Just a b6 or otherwise known as a b16de 1.6L DOHC non turbo, and while the parts can be found I'm finding that the turbo and the turbo manifold just aren't showing up in the junk yard a lot of my internals can be taken from the miata motor, same engine. was almost willing to sell the header but I think I'll give it a try anyway while I get parts together for the turbo meantime I also need to finish my suspension setup, gotta get those struts and possible some camber bolts....

Might take you up on that, about to get the exhaust done, got the new better intake on, might need help with the header as the EGR valve I guess has t obe modified to fit and getting the cat custom installed on there too. the interior is starting to look good but some of my plastic trim pieces are a little sun damaged, never seen plastic erode before! Suspension is at a halt as I have to gather the money for the struts (tokico's) I know I can use the ZX2 struts but it'll lower the car an extra half inch and I don't want to drop it too much as it's a daily driver. any hookups for the struts at dealer cost or wholesale would be great. then the suspension will have to be installed I know I might need help with that as well just to get the job done fast, just worried about any worn parts I might find once that gets started. So that's where I'm at, about to get cat back, have to figure out how and when to install the header, and suspension on hold til I get the right struts.

i can do the suspension work, i have done a few now srt-4s, my old zx2, and more so i am very familiar with it as well as with headers. Just tell me a day you are thinking about doing the header or the strut work.

i have a buddy that has spring compressors so i should be able to borrow them from him and it would save you from renting them and then returning them. I have majority of the tools and i should be getting more soon. only thing i am missing that i really need is an air compressor at home. Hopefully with this new job that i might be getting i can get me one.

just let me know when you want to do it. right now my days off are Sunday and Monday. But if i get this new job i might only have Sunday off.

As soon as I get the parts I'm ready, the headerI'm ready for any time just need to drill and get an OEM gasket to line the holes up, then the cat jsut has to be custom mounted to it, I'm thinking it would be best to put flanges on both ends of the cat so it can be easily bolted on and off in case it should ever burn out on me. Tell you what that's about the one part I'm capable of putting on now financially so I'll pm you my number...
