Since i'm at work and have nothing better to do, I will whore the boards... But yeah, I just saw a civic on the way down town and had green dash, seats, and a CF wing. It was mad tight... and uber fast. Interior work + CF wing = 86 HP gain. I don't lie. I think I might do that w/ the Z... 8)

I have a painted interior. I guess I did a good job, because people always ask "is that stock?", but I got tired of it, so I'm slowly de-ricing.

You do realize spoilers do benefit even FWD cars right.

of course, doesnt matter what car. it helps handling and adds downforce on the rear wheels for cornering. for things like auto X. now for dragracing the wing is somewhat pointless. . .

Yup, also provides a small degree of weight distribution while traveling but mostly the previously stated.

Wings are also useless in most auto-x competitions. You simply don't get to high enough speeds. They're best suited for long courses, at speeds of 85+ mph.

i wasnt sure how big auto X courses were. and ya they would be at optimum efficency at higher speeds, the faster the more downforce! :P

I have ridden in a 300whp civic. You cannot tell me they cannot be fast. Granted the driver was horrible but it was still fast...when in gear

In my new carcraft mag I got the other day theres a picture of a tubed out, geo storm with a blown big block. lol who would've guess it. I'll find a way to scan it and post it up here, pretty sweet.

but you gotta figure that a geo, especially a metro is a pretty light and small car. remove some un-needed things under the hood and throw a bigger engine in there and you have a freakin rocket!

hey guys you got it all wrong it's not horsepower gains from the sticker's and interior mods and stuff like that it's speed particles that make them go faster. that's what makes a ricer go is speed particles and the more speed particles you have available the faster you go. sticker's increase the amount of speed particles that can be stored inside your vehicle. It's sort of like a form of rocket propulsion you get all these speed particles stored inside your car then you get one of those 5" diameter fart mufflers that allows you to get more speed particles shooting out the back of the car at a faster rate causing you to go fast

Yes I drive an escort yes I know it will never be fast. Quick maybe but not fast.

There are as many honda owners that feel the same way and as many ricers driving zx2s. So lets not consolodate ricedom to hondas. In fact I know a lot of v8 drivers that have ricedom...because they have v8s makes them better than a 4cyl.

We are actually trying to get any and all car enthusiasts on this site. Not just zx2s so the honda things have to stop. We would not mind having people driving metros either. As long as they enjoy their car and what they are doing to it they are cool in our book. Although god awful looking bright interior paint and big aluminum wings do agitate me.

sorry CJW, i was trying to make a more generalized statement, didnt really mean to direct it towards honda owners. and i will agree, hondas and geos are fine, as long as they are modded in some way and the owner loves it.

and i get plenty of jokes from people i know and strangers in cars about my escort, then i own them down the road :P
