well as the title asks, has anyone done extrude honing, if so how can you contact the company?
arden
i would hit up paul or screethoprez, i am almost postive one of them has done it... i would be interested in prices because i will eventually have to get my block bored and honed confused.gif
inis
i have to ask why you need this done?
street_tuner87
dont need it, want it. i just want to improve the airflow in my intake and exhaust manifolds. wont be doin it soon tho. but i have found a place in Irwin, PA that does it for cars and boats and about anything else.
arden
you dont need a bore or a hone, you just need your head ported and polished. maybe a valve job, but this stuff is not cheap. you have a V block right? so your looking at at least $1000-$2000 to get this done... not sure if thats really worth it mike. in my mind you have more of a luxury car. the interior in your 929 is HOT. its never going to be a super fast car. spend some money on some really nice wheels and tires, drop it, and put in an awesome in car entertainment system. then throw in a wild paint job and you will be winning trophies at car shows laugh.gif
street_tuner87
yes... this i know, but i still would like to have fun with it. i intend to get a paint job, sound, wheels(actually oin to keep the stock and just pc them), and then i just found smoke headlight covers for my car that i would like to get. but i can do performance right now cheap than i can show. the only perf i want to do is small stuff and then the rest is show. please a every one have a little faith in me. i know it may not sound like it but i do not plan to turn my car into a street beast. i just want show but it never hurts to have a little go either. and most of this aint goin to happen till i am out of college anyway. by then i will be able to anything i want to a car, financially.
arden
well you have my support. and honing/valve job is not a "little" thing when comparing to things like intakes, exhausts, chips ect...
street_tuner87
i know its not a little thing but i have allowed myself one major thing with perf and i choose this. now for show thats diff, everything is practically major but thats fine cause it will be killer after its all done.
