arden
mine are better!

insta
You should get gunmetal lug nuts, and paint your calipers some bright color.
KCzx2MO
I like those wheels, arden. But yes, gun metal lug nuts would look better.
inis
I like the blue, makes ya look at em :D
CJW
how much do those wiegh arden then I will have my rebudle statement on "whos are better"

Those are nice but I got the ones I like so I like mine better. Couldve gotten whatever size I wanted but I like to go fast and they were the lightest I found that i liked and the fact I like to go fast and not worry about potholes ever 8)
arden
potholes in missouri... ya right....

i like the blue lugs, like jarred said, makes you look at them, and red calipers are on my list of things to do

Are you going to powder coat the calipers? If so, about how much would that cost?

Sometime I will borrow one of everyone's rims, and test the moment of inertia on them.

Seriously, I want to know, lol.

you have way too much time on your hands bryan...

and nick, $45 (+ $20 deposit) for both front calipers powdercoated. check out zxtuner.com . that price includes the calipers themselves. just you have to ship them your old calipers to get your $20 back, not sure if they cover return shipping or not, so the $20 that is returned probably ends up covering your return shipping costs... maybe jarrod, CJW or Bryan know something

Thanks man. I think when i get my car repainted, i'm going to have the calipers powdercoated to match the car...
CJW
Weight arden? Still waiting to see whos are really better
insta
CJW, you get the 15" rims because of the research I did into diameter vs. performance? :D
CJW
Um ya sure....But no really its common sense. 15" has less rotational mass to move. Weight is distributed over a larger surface moving the weight further from the center making it lose power. And on top of that typically 17" will weigh more than a 15" especially since MY 15s weigh in at just under 12 lbs :P Im going to guess a good 17lbs at least on those 17s

And with that said Im going to vote MINE as BETTER than YOURS :!: :-P :-P :-P
arden
wow, maybe i will go mexican and put some 12's on mine! anyways, for PERFORMANCE yours are probably better. mine are *cough*17.5 pounds*cough*..... im ashamed

but hey they look better
insta
CJW, you don't remember me doing that on TeamZX2? I know that larger rims are heavier towards the outside, but I didn't know how much.

After the physics and moment-of-inertia calculations and what-not, I found that:

15lb 17" rim is rotationally the same as a 42lb 14" rim.

Seriously.
RecklessZX2
hopefully after winter i'll be getting 18" axis reverbs, they're super lite for 18's since they utilize a hollow spoke technology
CJW
arden mine are gunmetal with a polsihed lip I still think mine look better too. :-P

Personal style. And mine make for better speed and handling

Oh yea. Right under 12 lbs a piece. And they are going to look TITS. So far I have had every person who saw them(all who like big wheels) say they are beautiful and the one(with civic) damn near was going to beat me in the nuts for them.

You have no idea. These damn things glisten more than a 400 pound man trying to get a hoagie at the end of treadmill. The gunmetal color is so deep and sparkly that it looks as though it is 1/8" thick of just color. And the lip PDT_11

Dan(91tsi) will attest I am telling the truth.

Those pictures make it look ok. But do them no justice. They are damn gorgeous.

When I am out there you must ask permission to touch the oh holiest of rims PDT_Armataz_01_27

my new wheels, but theyre pink i really need a digital camera so you guys can see the color....
CJW
You really got those in pink? Thats awesome

Not my style but they are pink and thats def. different
KCzx2MO
You have to post a pic of the pink wheels. That is pimp shit.
pinkzx2chick
i know i know...im gonna borrow my friends digital camera tomorrow and get pix of the sweet ride and my gorgeous wheels...they cost a ton to get em in pink but ive never seen someone w/ pink wheels before!!!
arden
your joking right? those are at least 20's and they would go for 1,000 a piece... i want pics of them on your car with you standing there!

and ya CJW, i like your wheels. sorry i spat in the face of performance to get the wheels i liked the most. mine also have a deep gunmetal color with some metal flake in it. they are gorgeous and my pic dont show justice either. but at least we got nice wheels and unique cars. no more argueing! wink.gif
pinkzx2chick
down boy...theyre 17s and i got them for my birthday so i really dont know exactly how much they were...sheesh :?
