So what is your dream date

Mine:
First start off by going to the park and playing on the swing sets and jungle gyms(havent done that in forever)
Then on to a nice restaurant
After dinner we would go to the movies and see a funny or scary movie
Then out to get ice cream and/or coffee
After that we would go back to the house
Where she recieves a nice long back massage
then after that we would just chill and watch tv
And to end the night a kiss goodbye or goodnight(depending if she is spending the night or not) Dont be perverted about it I have 2 rooms. ,.l..

But sadly I dont care if I get another girlfriend or date anytime soon. I am happy right now. :D

been there, done that. Worked really well for some a couple years. Then went sour (not on my part), left kinda dry. But its been 2 yrs since that relationship. I actaully started talking to her again recently, was kinda weird she called me (remembered my cell too) said that I needed to take her off my insurance, which is weird cause I did but they forgot something, or some bs like that. But we talked for about 15 mins, very peaceful etc etc, 3 days go by and I got her family talking to me, saying I was best thing that ever happened to her, and I need to get back with her. I was like well I wish things we're simple like that but ugh. So few weeks go by, and I recieve a email from her. We've talked about past and current stuff. I basicly got what I wanted to hear, what I've been dieing to hear for two years...and I didnt even bring topic up, she did.....makes me feel alot better.
But all in all, we just talk as friends..I want nothing more.

I'll stick with cars, least my car wont break my heart

Back to the spending the night thing, I don't see a problem with sharing a bed, as long as the two people are in a monogamous and serious relationship. I'm not talking about 'sleeping together ;) ;)', but rather sleeping together. I dunno, I enjoy taking naps with Ashley, curled up on my futon.

I agree completely. But as for "dates", Not going out with the person, I have 2 beds :-)

ya i will be honest, i love to cuddle. either while sleeping ( as long as the room temp is cool/cold ) or on a couch watching tv. but there is nothing worse than falling asleep cuddling and wake up an hour later sweating your ass off because the room is already hot and you are under blankets snuggling in each others sweat, its gross... / rant and sharing of a bad experience :lol:

Being able to understand your girlfriend. Being able to finish her sentences. Listening to her sentences, and her doing the same. Never really wondering "when's she going to do anything for me?", but rather, doing whatever you can for her. Bring her flowers -- randomly. Buy her lunch -- randomly. Don't do it all the time, that gets expensive, and she'll get needy. Don't do it every 3rd Friday. Don't do it after a fight. Don't do it if you're wanting to fool around later. Do it because you want her to be happy. When she's happy, she'll make you happy.


The opposite of what I said above. Don't try to force anything. Don't be afraid of fights. They will happen! No relationship is fight-free. It's how you handle the fights that determines how the relationship will last.

Look at why the fight started. If it's because of a major rule being broken (cheating, drinking, whatever), then do not pass Go, do not save relationship. Bitch, foot, curb. But, it's usually because of a disagreement of some sort. She wants to go to a party with her friends, you don't like that idea. Why? Do you not trust her, or do you not trust her friends? Let her know. You're either in enough of a relationship with her to be able to say that to her face, or there isn't enough of a relationship yet to try and dissuade her. You can't take a girlfriend of 3 weeks and start "bossing her around", because that's exactly what happens. Nobody wants to get bossed around, and that will cause a huge fight.

When you've been with someone for as long as Ashley and I have been together ... you really don't mind waking up drenched in each other's sweat from not realizing the blanket would hold in that much bodyheat. Two people make a shitton more heat than one does (much more than twice as much), and I don't know why. We're more interested in the fact that we got to lay down together, not that we're temporarily soaking. :)

Quickest relationship killer: My friend tried this on a girl he wasn't even with yet.... They were talking on the phone, and then out of nowhere he says, "Brandi, can we have sex with no strings attached?" As you can imagine, the answer is no. He got hung up on and they haven't talked for a month....

He lost that one, because he didn't want what's best for her. ;)
