washing my banana yesterday and the trim that was taken off, leaves two holes on each door...i had them filled, I was told that they'd be welded shut, then bondo'd over to smoothen..and it will take less time. Anyways..washing it and the drivers side hole falls in the door! wtf now i have a 3/4 inch hole in my door..

I guess when i get a hair up my ass i'll have to take the door off, find the putty and see if i can set it back in and find something to hold it there..

looks gay now

a better explaination maybe? i dont know why you would have to have a 3/4 in hole in your door for any reason...

the door trim (so another car bangs against it and not your actaul door) , mines molded off..when you take them off they leave two holes in the door... and mine are filled, when there suppose to be welded and molded over..

so i take the door panel off today, and the back hole has a metal plate on it with some kinda black tar holding it in place, looks like a diff brand of jb weld.

The front hole has no evidence of anything, I did find a metal piece but it had nothing on it, so not i have to figure out what to fill that hole with and make it look half way decent!

bah im sad, I also found other problems but im done typing.

I just did mine the other day w/ the help of Kevin Crider. We took the molding off and grinded off the paint on the outside, then took a dremel inside the hole to remove that paint. Then we slightly dented the lip of the hole inwards then from the backside, we duck taped little pieces of sheet metal and from the outside we welded it. Just make shure somebody is on the inside to blow out any flame that might occur. I had a nice lil flame on the 1 hole b/c the tape caught on fire. Then we filled the hole w/ as much weld as we could to get it near perfect smooth than ground down the high spots and put a little body filler over the pinholes and such.

I wish i could do that, but i have a custom paint job its factory yellow with white violet pearl..the pearl would be hard to match , but im considering this..
