naw either something is fucked up with the pulley setup or I got one of the dreaded 50 motors with bad bearings in it and now have crankwalk...I obviously hope for the pulley setup...

BUT on the brightside if I have crankwalk Im building a block up...

Nah your hood will be on before mine. I dont like putting stuff on my car and leaving it on before its finished.

bodykits, hoods, fenders, etc.

I cant stand the unfinished look...it doesnt look good, doesnt look professional, and looks like you didnt have the money to finish the job

All of which may be true is some cases BUT I want mine to look good, professional, and I have the money to finish the job

Also, I need my car back before anyones hood is going on

so i am guessing your painting the hood to match your car then? that will be cool, not many people paint their aftermarket hoods. either they are carbon and people are dumb to paint those or they leave the hood the flat black like yours and from a distance its "looks" like carbon fiber cuz its black when in reality its not lol.

as for my hood, just tell me when and i will call them and purchase it and tell them to leave it for you to pick up. i am about $100 short of having enough for it but i got some cash coming my way the next couple of days so i am positive i will have the dough if you go this weekend

there is a yellow s/r running around independence with an unpainted fiberglass hood on it, i've seen it twice now.

i can't stand when people put stuff on thier cars without it being finished, that just irritates the crap out of me.

Yea it will be painted to match before it goes on the car. Also the lines of the scoop are being painted either gunmetal or black to accent the cars secondary colors. Oh and Im fabbing a sheet metal plate to go on the bottom of the hood so it doesnt dump rain or whatever onto the collector of my kami. Thats a bonus of working where I do...free sheet metal and tools to bend, cut, weld, manipulate however I want

I dont like unfinished cars or 'under construction' cars. They bother me.
