And dan I dont hate your car...I do hate working on it....really hate working on it. Every aspect of that car makes me think mitsubishi hired a bunch of idiots as engineers/designers. When it runs its great, when it doesnt I dread being withen a mile of it.

you could afford a car that would cost anywhere between 23k to 35k (cause all those stories of getting a gtr at 5k are said by people who have obviously never been to japan or have never seen one, are bs) and roughly another 10k to get it on the streets here? i guess you make more money than the most of us on here.

2nd I will not discuss my money situation with you. I can afford the car I want but I want a house in the next year to 2 years as well as helping start a business with a couple of friends that you may know.

watch it man, i didn't take a personal stab at you in anyway. you totally took that wrong. you don't know me at all and you think that i'm always on here giving you a hard time. all i basically said is you could afford a car like that? you must make more than the rest of us. i said this with a little suprise on my side, not in an aggresive way, read a little deeper next time. don't just assume that i take offense to everything you say. now i'm upset because you turned around everything i said about the subject and made me look like some asshole.

I asked other admins what they would take you post as and I was told I posted justly. Im not going to try to decypher a post that at a quick glance looks like its hazing me.

Ok, if it was a real question then...Yes the lotus I priced was about 38-39 thousand. I calculated it out and I could have it paid in 3 years tops with full insurance and all. Down side I wont be able to buy the house I want in the next 2 years MAX. Any performance extra spending money would also go towards saving so I may have the car I would like and the zx2(because its already paid, why get rid of it) but the things I like to do as a hobby such as buy parts and work on cars would be pushed to the side for my house fund/family fund.

As for making more money...I wouldnt say so. I just dont have many bills. Most just goes into savings. Most parts on my car I pick up cheap, on sale, slightly used, someone sold their car and didnt install, etc.

Also my zx2 was fully paid in under a year at 600 a month plus full insurance on a 18-19 year old...I didnt have any mods during that time...but it was worth it. At 18 I was employed as the youngest person my company has ever hired to do the job I was assigned and quite frankly ran circles around the older drafters. At 17 I taught a class on a program called Autodesk Inventor.

Im in no way an over achiever or anything and dont look for anything like that. The girlfriend I had at the time motivated me.

i'm glad that you can work things out like that dude, not a whole lot of people that age can manage to do such things. i was in no way trying to piss you off and what you said to me was a shock when i read it. what you wrote in the last post or no answer at all is what i was expecting to read when i asked if you could afford a car that costed so much.

I actually posted what shocked you early that morning and made it invisible to everyone but mods and admins. I asked others to proof read what I had said and did the same thing myself many times. It was quite calmed since the time I originally posted it...when I was thoroughly pissed. You got the lite version...Bryan can attest to that
