Full Version: 2009 Ford Focus Ses
well so far i dont have pics yet. painted the chrome grill inbetween the headlights to match the rest of the car, took the badges and stuff off the trunk. custom cat back exhaust with a pypes performance exhaust M-80 straight through muffler and a resonator 3" tip. next plan is either intake and under drive pulleys or scrounging up a junk 2.3 duratec head and rebuilding that with crower stage 1(or 2) cam with upgraded springs ported/polished, angle job, adjustable cam gears, you know the usual head stuff. more later.
i have a vid of the exhaust i just need to find time to upload it. exhaust sounds great, deap and throaty. not like the bee fart can crap.
installed NOS tank and main line. saving up to buy the kit to convert it from dry to wet. then should finish the install.

going to do a nos install correctly so it doesnt screw anything up. only gunna do about a 50 or 75 shot.
well i installed a steeda sri and fabricated hand sewn seude boots for the ebrake and shifter.

I'd re-think some of this kit Mike, not knocking focussport, I really do like them but some of that stuff is pretty iffy. If your looking for bolt on and go..then by all means go for it. But if you'd like to do it right the first time..I'd def rethink some stuff.
Stephen has had good luck with a cast mani, but I'd go tubular if you had a choice. I'm sure you do...re-think that kit, especially for the price..there has to be something better you can do with that amount of money. If you can do without the car for awhile, I'd be happy to help you build a kit up. I can weld aluminum, and SS pretty dam good.

Don't waste your money on a $3600 turbo kit.
How well do those automatic trannies hold up to the power boost?
I highly doubt you will hit 400whp through that tranny. Unless you spend a small fortune.
