Ok, saw this car actually twice in one day. Guy lives somewhere in blue springs, i will look at the neighborhood sign again when i go back, but he is a black kid, has a black S/R with stock everthing and red painted calipers and drums. It sounded like he had an intake of somekind and he had a white "NOS" sticker on his left front quarter panel... dont know it was actually boosted or not but it was there. He would be a great addition to the site and our "group" . I dunno if CJW can whip up some "business cards" or something along those lines with a cool car and our name and site on them... I could design them if you guys wanted, but we desperately need something to be able to hand out to people locally to get the membership and word spreading. Something small like a business card could easily be distributed to people you randomly meet around town and to friends with cars they want to mod or already have...

Talked to a guy a few times up around my area with a full wings west kitted silver z. Few other mods to headers, intake, exhaust, etc. Pretty cool guy actually.

there's 2 guys around leavenworth w/ kitted z's, inis saw the one dude w/ the yellow s/r, then there's a silver atx w/ the erebuni kit. i haven't talked to either one tho as they have bad driving manners and glare at me when i pass them :roll: But one of my friends just bought a blue zx2 and put a vader2 kit on it, i'll tell him to join up next time i see him

Theres a blue atx Z, with white 17s, and erebuni front end I saw around the OP area. He actually posts on the teamzx2 forums and has some pics up.

hey adema, are there any decent performance shops in lawrence? i'm gonna be needin a job in a month or so and i was thinking about trying to get one at a shop, if i can't find one i guess i'll just have to try at NAPA

hmmm....I can't really think of any good ones at the moment. There is Wendland Performance on Iowa ST that you could possibly check out.

i go to my girls house ( her name is Jill) around 9:30. At what i thought at the time was dark green zx2 followed me to her house and did a u-turn and left when i parked at her house. Later, while she is driving my car, i see the same Z on noland. this time i notice that its actually black, and know its the same one because he had a neon orange license plate. well, here is the part that will throw ya. its the same black s/r that i started this topic about, black kid with nos sticker. well anyways, we followed each other, passing and draggin a bit and goofin around on the way towards blue springs. once again the girl was in the car or else i would have got him to stop to talk. all i have to say is that he had way more than just nos. he was FLYING! obviously he had a mtx and i really doubt he ever sprayed. all i can think of is a good pcm and maybe minor engine work... well it really sucked because seeing him a second and third time i still dont know who he is. oh well, maybe next time...

most of these guys just love the rice,....no really most like sub-compacts, but a more tasteful "clean" look. granted some guys still refuse to remove the jumbo winds and stickers. oh well can't win them all,... :lol:

To resurrect this thread, we actually found this guy. he admitted straight up that the NOS sticker is ricer bait. :)

kick ass! i have been wanting to talk to this guy. his car is quick and i have bumped heads with him a few times on diff occasions around town :twisted:

I'd hope he was MTX, as all S/R's were MTX. :)

In your original post, you said he has painted calipers and drums. S/Rs had disc brakes all around. No drum brakes in the rear. Was it a mistake, or does that kid just have S/R stickers?
