How do you guys define DD?
If I was to dyno 700 on race gas but 520 on 93, would you call me 520 DD or 700?
IMO, DD is anything you can drive daily and get the gas readily available, meaning race gas would be excluded. AND I could drive it from KC to FL and still have 520 whp without having a tanker follow me full of race gas.
A focus is claiming 606 whp DD, when in fact he dyno'd 475 on premium. I called him out, and he said he drive sometimes to work on race gas. I replied saying thats stupid and thats not ALL the time. It goes on for a bit and the forum backs him, and not me. I never said his car isn't impressive, but calling it a DD is incorrect.
Opinions?

To me a DD is a non or lightly modded car that you wouldn't be afraid to take to work, the movies, grocery shopping, etc... Places you wouldn't take your toy. I also think it either has to be pump gas or diesel. I wouldn't even consider an E85 only vehicle as a DD.

well this guy ran race gas to get these numbers and is claiming DD. When on premium he's making 475 HUGE difference to 608whp or whatever it was. Even then, who pushes 30lbs of boost going to work, kinda ignorant if you ask me.

Daily driver is well... a daily driver. You drive it pretty much everyday during all 4 seasons.
IMO it could be pushing 900whp and well if you drive it everyday it would be considered a DD. Buuttttt he said 606 whp DD which is not true unless he is running race gas all the time like you said.
He probably just said that so he can tell people he has a "600 whp" daily driver, since after all he drives the car almost everyday, even though it is not making that power everday.
