well i have to get rid of the focus. cant take it anymore. found a 2005 srt4 for 11K. yes i will be under on the loan, i dont care.

have stephen or rich look at the ad or help you find an srt. They both know what they're looking at and I know stephen is on the srt forums all the time. He can probably tell if the car has passed around alot..or if he's seen threads on it.

get rid of the neon if you go to an srt4, there will be no point in having a first gen and a srt4

yeah it was, im still looking around, i took a look at it and it was missing the back half of the exhaust and all other kinds of things, they were trying to rip me. anyway, i wont get rid of the first gen, lol. i need a daily driver thats what i want a srt for. the first gen is still planned on going under 9 seconds on the 1320. i just got a garage at my apartment complex so i have been able to start working on it further. got it up on stands, doors, fenders, hood, all interior, trunk, all off. getting it down to bare shell and going to prep it for build up. found a 12 point roll cage at jegs, making a custom aluminum dash with autometer ultra lite gauges. aluminum drag seat, 5 point harness. simpson shutes. the full works. i may have had grand plans for other cars in the past but i have never made as much progress with them as i have with the neon. this neon is turning ou to be the real deal for me. mostly because i can actually afford to build this project. yeah somethings i plan are stupid expensive but its for a 4banger instead of the v8s i was trying to work on. the only reason i stopped working on the camaro thing was the motor and transmission got sold or stollen. not to mention i have more time and money to put towards the car now that im single again. no matter what i do if i get rid of the focus i will be under on it, but i dont care, i need to get rid of it. and if i can get an srt i would be happy an dnot even sweat having to pay for it and the remainder of the orriginal loan. any help i can get for y'all would be great, even if the car is in your area i can always fly back and drive it back out here. i dont mind the drive, yeah its a long one but its got great sights. another reason i want the first gen is even if you had the same motor with the same mods in an srt and a first gen the first gen would when, its smaller and lighter. not much but its somethin. my two cents. i appreciate all the help. and if you know of a srt thats local that i might like ill look into it.

That supposed clutch fork issue could be 3rd gear synchro issues. But its a great price...

yup, plans are for comin home mid november for two maybe three weeks of leave. i can turn in the divorce papers finally, get my mustang back, and visit friends and family. i cant wait.
