ok, so the pictures speak for themselves. the hood was a big risk and it obviously does not fit. its close but not quite. corey is taking it to his friends body shop where my kit will be done at and see if they can add some fiber glass around the front and reshape it to fit. if that is possible then i will have about a 2 in red border painted around it to cover the fiber glass so all you can see is the carbon, should look fairly decent if it works out like in my head... im bound and determined to have this hood work the hood and kit will go on and be done at the same time

the seats, they are sexy of course but need custom brackets, i think paul is going to help me out here and design something at his machine shop. shouldnt be too hard, they might be in by the end of next week.

or possibly you have gotten a hood for the 4 door escort from that year. If it is a focus hood, let me know, I am waiting on mine still.

yeah i agree, a focus hood would have very sharp lines in the front, i am pretty sure this is what CJW said, an escort hood for the 97-02 ... not sure why they made this for an escort, it would look really gay on some grandma car...

talked to sully today, he is very confident in his friends at their body shop so i will be shippin the hood to them with my car when the kit is put on to have everything done at once
