Who has change theirs out to 21mm?? i got new D bushings from summit but the D clamp doesn't work very well with the new bigger bushings. I tried to use the factory D clamps which is on there right now but i had to do some bending of those and they will not tighten all the way. I get this awfull sound of course since they are not seated properly. trying to find clamps that will work. 02 zx2.
Id like to help but the only thing I know about the 21mm install is that prothane is the only company that makes bolt in replacements for the D bushings.
Besides taht I cant tell ya. I have a 19mm laying in my basement that Ive had for around a year or 2 now.

i've had the 21mm on my zx2 for around 2 yrs now.
I took the stock ES bushings (s/r) and took a hot poker and rolled it on the inside of the bushings , freeze the bushings because polyurethane keeps melting on its own if its at room temp. I did it til I got a good fit.
No noises or anything, works wonderful. My car is a 3 wheelin mo fo

I've got a 21mm on as well, but I used the rubber bushings that came from the donor car. The rear end is stiff, but my car is very well balanced with the S/R suspension and 205mm tires. I would probably be happier with the 19mm, as I have had the ass end fly out a time or two.

if i bought some stock 13mm bushing and maybe dremeled the center wider to fit the 21mm would that work? or would carving out 8mm be to much and leave me with no bushing??

get es on the front sway bar and it will help balance out some. I only get ass end flying out 80+ but I'll make a post of that one late, I believe its something with my brakes
