i did get my bottom plastic grill out, the center one. now i just need to make a trip to home depot! BUT i am not sure how to re-mount the fog light assembly once i remove the bottom-side grills and i dont know how to remove the grill that holds the ford sign and inner turn signals in... will i have to remove the front bumper? i tried today in the rain but i couldnt seem to find all the bolts to get it off... ANYWAYS, just thought i would bring this up because i want to replace the stock plastic grill pieces with a metal mesh like most body kits have, give it the look of having one without actually doing it. 03's look unique enough for most people to think its a body kit, and most dont know what a zx2 is without the ZX2 badge on it somewhere... :?

From my understanding there is an assload of tabs holding the 03 grill in. You can cut the tabs and pull it out or do whatever. One guy took mesh and layed it over top of his stock grill and fastened it somehow but then cut out the oval for the ford emblem. It looked pretty good.
But i like the stock look...not a big mesh person I like black honey comb or black mesh

well i already popped the center lower piece out.... it makese sense now to have kept it... i broke several tabs in the process :( BUT, the center top HAS to come out, i cant keep it and lay mesh over it. and i have decided that I want a black mesh, to sorta match my wheels, i think silver would scream "ricer" and it would clash with the rims...

Well you are going to be losing your inner turn signals unless you rig them up somehow. But go ahead and break the tabs on those if you want it out... :-/

well i thought about the front grill, and it seems like most were able to rig it to where the inners where still there behind the mesh, made it a hidden look... someone with a blue Z on "the other forum" had several pics of the mod the other day but i cant seem to find the post
