I found a local company that does mandrel bending , but for railings and etc. Different shapes but can do my bends, the OWNER has emplied the if I can leave my car. He can have his one of his employees work on it and do a once piece downpipe in 3 inch, Stainless. and the same for the tube from turbo to IC, and IC to TB. I'm waiting on another email to confirm his suggestions :twisted:

umm didnt make it that far :lol: , but he sounds like a nice guy and wanting to help out. I told him , if he can hook a brotha up..I'll spread some word if he wants..but I know he's into railings and stuff like that (I think like pool ladders, and business railings)

definitely interested in price and what wall thickness are you gonna get? it's fairly impressive to have a machine that can do tubing over about 2 inch o.d. The machine we have at work only has dies for 2" but I cheated and made mandrels and dies for 3 inch for my buddies turbo :-P

bends: he replied saying he can get me the bends, but can't do a complete downpipe. BUT he said his partner in topeka can do a complete downpipe and intercooler piping in fewest amount of pipes.

dry sump: its a go, just gotta get pricing.

omg I'm shaking, the guy I emailed does bends and pieces. He makes kits and sells them larger companys (i.e. hooker, magnoflow etc etc) , but he said a partner of his just bought a mandrel bender a month ago, he sent me to him..I have a appointment to go out next thur, talk to him etc etc I'm freakin guys!!@$ this is bad ass. I might have my turbo kit on before bbq meet.

he said if guy doesn't work out to call him back and he'll send me bends to do the work myself at a discounted price...

Seen one with a gude turbo was ok but the welds on the manifold didn't hold up. Everything else was ok just not worth the money. He's got the right idea buildin it himself.

do it right the first time, wont be a second time. If my kit goes well, I'm going to look into a company to mass produce it.

yep if they do good work, I'm gonna pass them along. Actaully I'm going to see if they will do my work for free, with a trade out for advertising on here, AND a discount for kctuners members....like 25% or something...I'll let ya know.

If/when I go to the place to get the bends done..anyone wanna tag along? I might have to drive with no down pipe out there so I can swap out my turbo shit faster...so they can bend and cut pipes...Its gonna be a loud as shit with no downpipe :twisted:
