zx2 e85 compatible? on the website it says its NOT but it says many other fords are (and list them) I see no difference in them , than the zetec...so why isn't it? I'm thinking of running a half tank of it tonight....to see what it does.(e85 is 105 octane/ 2.44 a gallon)..theres 2 or 3 e85 stations in kc area.

oh also found out that NEVC is in missouri w00t 100% american made

e85=race gas? or is an alternate fuel...cuz if its race gas omg tahts cheap. Race gas here last I saw was like 4-- a gallon...

You'll be slower. Ethanol, while it has a high octane, has less energy per liter than gasoline. Much less. The higher octane helps offset the power loss, but until you're visciously turbo'ed, you won't be able to do anything with it.

actaully a sr20de guy dyno'd 5 more torq, and 10 more hp on a n/a engine without changing anything

CJW its a FFV gas. Made from waste, plants etc, and when its burned, it burns very clean.

Don't get me wrong ... I love handmade fuels. Biodiesel and ethanol ... I'd run either if my car supported them well (and the costs were the same, or less).

Still, it'll be interesting to see how you do.

Ok makes sense now. I may be getting a truck for running biodiesel in. I just like trucks and mudding and what better to do it in than a big diesel. 8)

bio deisel is e95 , e85 is 15% gas, and e95 is % , the 15 and 5 % is only for start up

I have about a half tank of this stuff, I checked it out its completely crystal clear and doesn't smell....actaully I can't tell if its doing anything yet but I think car runs smoother ,brother thinks im on crack...I dunno haven't drove it but 30 miles so far.
