alright, i called some people and no one answered. i bought 5w-30 pennzoil full synthetic... this the right stuff or should i take it back and get a different one?
CJW
thats good. I just run nothing but mobil 1 personally.

I may switch to royal purple though
inis
I believe Royal Purple add's sulfer to there fluids, stay away from that...especially on the tranny side..since we have some brass on the inside.
CJW
I am going to be running pennzoil synchromesh in my tranny and royal purple in the engine. I have heard good and bad. More good than bad. And all the bad is always 'I heard this and that'

Like I said I run mobil 1 engine oil. But may switch just not to pennzoil
Godzilla
I run Mobil 1 in my neon 5w 30 normally 0w 30 when I was racing.

ill give some hear say. I HEARD that the pennzoil synchromesh tranny fluid is AWESOME, i have not heard a single complaint and more and more people are switching to it with mtx's.

alright did the oil change, my ramps wouldnt work cuz the car is too low... anyways, i devise the ghetto way of lifting the car (my dad sold our floor jack  ) . took forever to get the filter off cuz i couldnt get my arm in the right position to get any leverage... then i spent 30 min trying to find the right size hex to take off the oil pan nut... everything else went smoothly and the car should be running better now! my oil was horribly bad :?

inis
think your car is low...wanna come and change my oil? lol ...what I do is put a jack under it ..lift it 2 inches (to fit the pan under it) undo the plug (reaching) ...then from top pull and change the filter...I can do that cause I've gotten rid of so much stuff under the hood...its easy now haha
arden
alright for a second i thought i was a dumbass for trying to change the filter under the car, then you said the part about removing all that stuff so you can reach it... i was getting mad for a second! ya i thought about your car, yours is slammed and mine is stock ride height... lol you must have a hell of time changin yours
