Clutchmasters clutch, new throwout bearing, and Fidanza flywheel on the way as of today. Pretty excited to get em in as they ultimatly change the feel of the car. Meaningless post I know but I'm excited about it......

I did order some more turbo stuff yesterday, only think I have left now is vacuum lines, cobalt boost gauge , cut outs, and my tuning. w00t

Catching up heh yeah thats it..... long ways to go for that, well the clutch in my car was beginning to slip anyways so I figure no point in buyin an OEM one might as well go with this and that place still had those flywheels for mad cheap. Easier to put em in both at the same time. Don't think you have to worry about too much competition as far as zx2s go around here..... just don't want my car to be extremely sluggish.

actaully I ran Josh (cjw) and bryan this week, with josh I had no CEL and I barely pulled on him, with bryan I did have a CEL and wasn't pulling on him til way higher MPH , like it was dead even for a bit and didn't start pulling til 90+ , was dead even a few races. I thought that night I had blown my engine cause it was running very funky.

you gotta remember though I am no where near stock and am not done either...and dont have pots...:-P

hey how does pots work any way i don't really understand it all? and is there a way to integrate the switches for it in to the dash?

Yeah I remember you was havin engine issues.... I meant with the turbo comin, otherwise your still just in the same bracket as the rest of us. Well not all of us but some.

Hes pretty quick...And from how it seems hed put a hurten to most the people round with a zx2.

But eh. Mine is slow anyway...I dont think Ill ever cure it of that problem though :lol:

thats a centerforce not a clutchmasters. I've had the centerforce before. I loved it. Good news /bad news

Good News:

-Holds awesome
-Very good qaulity

Bad News:

-Mine gave out at 145mph, causing backlash in the tranny = boom
-Stiffer clutch pedal (which I actaully like but alot of ppl dont)
-mine last 20k but I beat the shit out of it, I know many ppl to get 50k + easily out of them.

Overall I'd buy one again, actaully since my orginal I've owned 4 more centerforces, I only put one in of those 4, gf talked me into taking it back out so she could drive the car more..so I did (and smiled when I took it out too :evil: ) , I ended up selling it, and then I came across 3 others and bought those to resell.

You'll enjoy it , I certainly loved mine, I just shouldn't have beat on it so hard.

mmmmm! car parts! gotta love the feeling of laying them on the floor and taking a pic! i got goodies coming in the next couple weeks, i know i said this, but it feels like christmas already for me!

whoops I realized I did put clutchmasters heh what a doof.... :roll: ok ok bad moment centerforce then. Sad thing is I knew what I had/ordered just typed it wrong. Yeah I like em a lot to owned plenty of em in other cars. Love the pedal feel even though it is stiffer. I'm pretty easy on my clutches to so I have no problem stretchin the life of em.

since you're removing the tranny anyways...I'd do a ss clutch line too. I got mine from horsepower freaks for like 20 , just get a older escort one..its a tad longer but it will work just fine. theres other company's too.

Just gonna keep usin this thread to post updates of parts and details for my car over the course of the winter just like the clutch deal above so I don't know if it needs to be moved to another category or not. Just thought I'd say in advance.

I'm ordering my clutch next thur (week from thanksgiving) , we can do yours one week at godzilla's then mine, or both at same time. Mine will take half the time yours will cause how empty my engine bay already is :twisted:
