ok so after college i think i will let go of the 929 and go... yes, shocking, i think i will go the neon way. either a '95 or try to find a really cheap '03 SRT-4.

Keep in mind 04&05 SRT-4's have the LSD.... But the 03 will be just fine, plus you will be fast right away. Just good luck finding one in good shape, most of them are driven to hell. Price range for an 03 SRT-4 would be around $9k - $11k I am guessing, depending on the mileage & whats wrong with it. Huge aftermarket with both mentioned Neons too.

You can find first gen Neons dirty cheap though, leaving you more money to mod it.

i'm not really looking at a combo just trading the 929 for a neon and modin the hell out of it.

If you want a 1st gen do a 97-99. if you want an srt definitely hold out for the lsd

Yes like Paul said, if you are going 1st gen stay with 97-99 Ive always preffered the R/T, but any manual DOHC will be just fine
