so we dont like the gallery or what? to lazy ? I dunno???

since I've closed the pics vids section I thought it would pick up..but its not

someone explain this to me...
CJW
I believe what me and Jarred decided upon today was that any pics and vids need to not be hosted on ftp from here on out. And as people have time please transition that which you wish to keep(pics, vids wise) to the gallery.

We are going to try to transition the ftp into a 'file only' system in order to use the gallery to its fullest. .exe, .txt, .psd, etc.

If you go to 'my account' then on the left it will be labeled 'invision gallery' then go to 'your albums' from there it is pretty apparent what to do

Is there a size limit? I've got a 17mb .mpg file that never seems to upload.
inis
Rodney, I do not believe there is a file limit right now, I'll have to double check to see if it defaults to something and can edit it accordingly. So it times out or just not going through at all?
arden
yeah i had issues uploading to my ftp. am i still able to upload my vids to the gallery to host them?

I never got a time out message or anything, just returned to the main kctuners page. When I go back to the gallery, nothing is there.

Seems like it is size related. Over 2 mb, images are not stored. I've successfully loaded smaller pics into my gallery.
CJW
Yea you can upload your vids to the gallery.

The ftp is kinda wierd. Every so often it wont let me login. Its best just to use the gallery that is setup. You can hotlink to the image from there as well. So it should pretty much be the same other than the drag and drop of ftp
inis
Rodney I see two pics from you, I'll see if I can find a setting for size limit.

Everyone must understand when creating a album to make it public, I can not change it as the gallery is php 4.x and we have php 5.x and insta has hacked it...and not every function is working yet. We're working on it.

Also quick question, do you all want to create albums or post directly to that section? I think I have some set as albums only and some as post directly in that area, if I change one to another and ppl have posted it loses all info, but keeps the hotlink of the image.
