I found out why my car was slow. The gromet between the accelerator pedal and the throttle cable had broken, and was spotty at best for opening the throttle plate. I gave my car a thumbs up after it ate the tires through first and second. I told my coworker that it was running well.

My car copped an attitude, and now smells like burning oil.

I'm also a retard. I disconnected my PCV hose to bleed my clutch, and never reconnected it ...

oil smell is gone. I lubs my scorty

Hahaha reminds me of when I put my powdercoated valve cover on and forgot to put spark plug seals in.

ya mine has a similar issue, my throttle cable is stretched from the frim..cause i tighten the tb spring tighter for my comfort...guess it was a bad idea and over time it stretch the cable. So when we went out last fri night I only got 3/4 tb open if that...I have to get another tb cable now..no biggie.. its a pretty simple swap which I need to do anyways.. the orginal tb cable had fire damage.

I wouldn't call it a bad idea. Yours was the most comfortable throttle I'd felt when driving any car. Cables only stretch so much ...

well im trying to. the shop really screwed me the past week and a half. they have not touched my car. getting it back tomorrow and going somewhere else that will actually get my work done

My car is running fairly well i suppose. Coming home last night I waxed a modified turbo audi...that was pretty cool.

It was one of those situations we were at the red. And it merges to 1 lane ahead...I didnt want him in front of me...

He had me from the start cuz of his awd...But I soon there after I had a car on him and pulling. As soon as I got in front I slowed down to the speed limit and his high beams came on...lol

I only got to 45-50 before backing down in front of him...teh burn

My car is runnning decent.... My clutch is starting to slip which is not a good sign. I'm gonna try and hold out as long as possible for buying a new one. And there is something messed up w/ the throttle that i havne't been able to pin point yet...
