hey, how many have replaced their pedals with some that look better? i was curious how they are installed... i am wanting some generic looking aluminum red ones for like 15 bucks. i assume they just bolt on over the factory ones? sounds weird...

I had some my friend bought me...I hated how they felt. The only one on now is the gas...cuz Im too lazy to take it off

They make some good ones, but I had some of the generic cheapos, hated them.

why did you guys hate them?! pedals are pedals right? well i dont find that i need grip, in fact i prefer to have slick pedals... i remember trying to drive bryans manual with shoes sticking to the clutch pedal, it made it even harder to work his freakin fidanza and aluminum flywheel tricked clutch! so i hope for slick pedals!

lol sorry guy I forgot about the atx.... that place does sell the same style in auto too. well since your not drivin a manual you shouldn't have to worry about your foot stickin to the clutch, anyways once you get used to em its a nice thing to have.

Mine just have plates on the back that fasten behind the pedal. ultimately it just "sandwiches" the stock pedal :D

did you take the rubber cover off the pedals? i know mine have a rubber cover that goes over the metal plate

Nope didn't have to.... dunno if it would make a difference.

alright well i have fell in love with a set of pedals. take a look. they are generic "cheapos" but they are the coolest that match my car that i have found. i figure they are cheap so if i dont like them then no big loss. they say they are universal fit for auto's... but they are listed for subaru's.... i think they will fit, they might just be listed pointing out manufactures to help get them listed on more searches...

pedals wont be a good thing for auto-xing specially when your slamming back and forth pedals...

Im not a fan of aftermarket pedals for that reason.

Also Im not big into the fake c/f look. I have a gas peadal on simply cuz I cant get it off :oops:

well like i said, for 10 bucks, no big deal if i dont like them. im not out that much
