Here are a few pictures of the work done so far. They were prepping the passenger side skirt for install. The shop still needs to mold in the sides and rear. They also will be shaving the spoiler off and filling the holes, and doing the custom fabbing of the scoote hood and my stock hood, all this will be done by friday. Pics will be posted almost daily as I visit the shop to check progress. Car will return to the shop next week to be painted. Opinions welcome!

That'll look hella slick if he molds it in and blends the edges.

sides will be molded into the rear quarter panel as well as blended, same for the front of the side skirt into the fender, just look at xxervio's finished pics. My front is not being molded... need to take that on and off lol. The rear will be molded to the rear bumper, but not the quarter panels next to the trunk. will look sick as hell when completed, you guys will go nuts with the finished product when you see it in two weeks at the car show

Ok more pics. The molding/cover of the rivets/bolts has begun. I think im going to keep the factory grooves and not fill those in. Car should be done tomorrow with everything. The hood however has hit a snag. The shop doesnt want to do the chop job, they are scared of ruining them and me being SOL... SO i guess i am back to plan B, I will do the hood job myself. Ill post more info later. For now though, which paint job for the hood does everyone like the most??? To me its between two choices, all red, or the vents and scoop stay carbon like the mitsu logo lol.
Hood Paint Options: OPINIONS WANTED!!!!!!!!!
Painted to have "style" and show whats left of carbon
Candy red pearl over the carbon to show carbon
My favorite. Carbon stays untouhced, just enough to show it off but not scream rice.
I really like the last choice, im stuck between that and it being all red.
Second trip to the shop. Updates and pics:
Just some images, These were taken during my second visit to the shop today. They did all the shave work and molding work in about 2 hrs! And the shop WILL afterall do the hood after i gave them a second stock hood to do it with so in case it doesnt work i still have my original hood i have done enough yapping lol. Pics speak for themselves!

good luck, first auto-x and it will crack to hell where its molded
I dont see anything there that give evidence either that you took our advice, when they take off the spoiler and the door moldings there needs to be METAL plates welded in, or they'll crack like mine did and eventaully be problems later..

i'd say third one, save money on paint. and i agree i would have reinforced the moldings. just my penny.

Mmmmm car is looking hot. IMO I would leave the hood all cf, don't paint it at all.... It will look hella good with your black rims. Can't wait to see the finished product!
