So does a borla muffler add any hp?. And if it doesnt why would they sell it for $350. When you can turn around and buy pacesetter cat-back exhaust for like $300.? I need some answers ASAP, thanks

Well, lets break it down. Exhaust's are there to do one thing and one thing only. That's venting exhaust gases away from the engine bay so they don't get recirculated into the intake. A general rule to live by is your exhuast is only as big as the smallest section. If you only change your muffler, what have you done. Answer: Absolutely nothing more than added an expensive noise maker. You won't notice a major gain in a naturally asperated car as you would a turbocharged car but you still should notice a difference. Get the whole deal. A borla muffler is no different and won't add anything to your car. The reason it's more expensive is because it's a higher quality part.

there xs (I believe) race mufflers are dyno proven to help. But once again they are RACE mufflers (meant for track racing) , so basicly you buy a SS canister that is straight through, with a few baffles in it and a borla logo
