I figured Id fill you guys in and see what you all think.
I had wanted to of couse paint it in a booth but the one I was going to go to fell through so that didnt happen. My car was up on blocks in my back yard getting primerd and ready to be wetsanded when I found out. I had a back-up booth but it was a 50 min drive and I didnt feel like pulling all the masking back off, putting the seat back in and putting my rims and tailights back on just to drive down and then remove them again.
What I did was paint my car RIGHT THERE in my back yard. As you can expect, some dirt got in it but luckily not "that" much and it was a sunny day w/ no wind or bugs so that was nice.
The only reason I decided to do it in my back yard besides the booth falling through, was Im re-doing my car in a year or so adding fender flares and shaving the door handels and possibly making my own front bumper cover.
Tell me honest opinions, I can take it, Im not a little kid. Only thing I ask is that you post what you like/dislike and dont just say "Rice" or whatever, tell me why, give me a lil discription.
I dont have the front bumper painted yet b/c it still needs some wetsanding.
Just to show Im not lying...
And my other project... Re-upholstering my seats...
