I'm asking for one for my bday and/or xmas, or a psp but not sure if I'm gonna get em or not... I want one, but there going to be so expensive

I got a Xbox 360 last week for a good deal with a bunch of games and accesories, I love it! This means "no" for the Ps3. Its going to be B.A. though...

PS3 is way over rated. XBOX 360 is stomping it into the ground now and will continue to do so once the PS3 hits markets with a price tag over 200 bucks more than the 360 will be at that time. plus the 360 has basically all the same games plus some exclusive to xbox... blue ray is over rated and none of the developers are going to use any of its advantages in the near future. the ps3 will flop

Not to mention, several hundred thousand people (myself included) have put Sony on a personal boycott. I have my reasons, most of which are for their rootkit DRM, which installed software on user's PC's to prevent ripping of CD's ... as soon as the CD was inserted. It ran at super-user privileges, was unremovable, and used its super-user status to hide itself from antivirus programs. There's another word for programs like this ... and when the people who write them don't have as many lawyers as Sony, those programs are called "viruses".

Xbox 360 is stomping it to the ground now???? I hope so considering the PS3 is not even released yet, ha! We are all intitled to our opinions and most are either Microsoft'ers or Sony'ers. IMO the PS3 will do much better than the xbox360 as the PS2 did against the original xbox, again IMO.

Blue-Ray overated???? Need to make a trip to BB or NFM to see the differance, its amazing!

well lets have a polite arguement.

ps2 outdid the original xbox because it came out first and xbox was getting itself established. after the overwhelming success of the PS1 , the PS2 had a lot of momentum.

but look at things now. the xbox will be somewhere between $150-200 less than tha PS3 and has just about every title the PS3 has plus its own heavy hitters like Halo. The 360 graphics are on par with the PS3 also, and has the by far the best online gaming community and support there is.

The PS3 has blue ray, which is ahead of its time and the developers wont be utilizing this for some time to come. This blue ray being the only major difference, its not worth the extra price tag, majority of people will never need a blue ray DVD player. Movies are not that large of a file...

Snootiness aside, try watching a pressed (not burned) DVD on my TV sometime. Even though it's running at the DVD's full resolution of 480p, there is noticable artifacting. I never thought I'd say it, but DVD's look like crap

I'm sure people who are even brattier, and have better trained eyes, can see it more obviously. Blu-ray makes a ton of sense for 720p and 1080i movies, as well as mass data archival (50GB per disc isn't bad)

I don't boycott them, but i would have to agree with insta here. I am a die-hard PC gamer. For the price of a PS3 i could upgrade my computer and it would be better than any PS3. Plus the fact there is going to be such a "demand" for it that many places will sell out. Never really been into consoles. When Xbox came out i did buy one, but 6 months later i sold it. PC will always better than any console, thats my opinions atleast.

Console games aren't as fun as computer games anymore.

I like how everyone is doging on the PS3 but when you say to come over and toy with it everyone wants too. lol HAHAHAHAHAHA I laugh If I could afford one I would totaly get one just to have or just build my own PC. I build them if anyone wants to get one!!!!

Had my 360 since launch date and still love it. Gears of war is killer if you haven't played before stop by the house sometime and take a test run its worth playin... F.E.A.R too. As far as PS3 maybe sometime in the future but not for the price tag its at now. Me.... I got my eyes on a Wii. Can't go without playin zelda/metroid games .

IT WAS BRAND SPANKING NEW, no one wanted to bid on it because he didnt really have any feedback, he lost 30 bucs on the deal!!!!!!!!!!!

hell yeah sully! zelda is the shit and gears of war for the 360 is amazing. Its even better if you play it on a 60ft wide screen ;)

I'm getting a 360 for christmas from the mom-in-law. what games should I get? like 5 of 'em top 5 list yah.....

i tested the PS3 up at best buy and its amazing. on a car game the detail is so fine that u can see the cracks on the sidewalls of the tires from putting stress on the wheels.

so im definitely investing in one but not until the bugs are worked out. so it'll be a year or two
