I'd prefer a singe side entry (both ports are on one side, but still a front mount intercooler) but traditional would work. Need something that flows !
Looking to spend no more then 250 (300 shipped)

Help a brotha out , i've been searching ebay but can't find anything to die for.

i've searched ebay but they all look cheap sad.gif

does the radiator and fan need to be removed to put the intercooler and turbo in? i was looking at my car and i really cant see where there would be room to install everything...
inis
intercooler goes on the front of the car...in front of the radiator. The turbo should clear the radiator, but maybe not the fan shroud...you might have to get a aftermarket fan.
arden
ok thanks! PDT_Armataz_01_34

Or you can do a sneaky top mount with a evo hood. Or a side mount...somehow...not much room in there.

Front is the arguably the most effiencient. I say arguably because people will argue top mount is better cuz of less piping and you can put a scoop on the hood and feed it just as much as the front.

Eh I am a nerd dont mind me. My sr20 will be front mount fed
arden
are you saying the turbo mounted in front or the intercooler? i plan to use an invader hood... the evo is UGLY
CJW
The turbo goes on the exhaust manifold. The intercooler can be side mounted, front mounted, or top mounted. When talking performance looks dont matter at all...havent I taught you this yet?

But I do agree I like the looks of the invader more. I like the af/x the most. If I get a hood it will be an af/x
arden
hmm af/x... have not heard of it. linky please!

and i knew where the turbo mounted, dumb me, what else would you have meant!

ps- why side mount? i understand front and top, because air can be directed into it, obviously the front seems to be the simplest, but a side mount would have no cool air flowing across the fins... UNLESS you did a masterful piping job to catch air and direct it towards it but even then it seems unpracticle...
CJW
Side would be used on a car that could get air thier. Also on cars with no room because of thier bumpers or whatnot

You notice I never mentioned it was good...

I myself like top mounts but my sr20 cannot be top mounted in the car I want it in. MY zx2 will stay n/a because it is a daily
