i am just thinking of this when and if a get a neon, but its highly likely that i will be getting one this winter my 929 isnt fixed by this new pcm. but i am just trying to get a general idea of what people thought of this wide body kit.

arden
i like the kit. not too wild but definitely different... get the car first and then we can plan mods thumbsup.gif
street_tuner87
yeah i know but i like to plan ahead. sometimes to far ahead but hey its something to do. but the problem is i dont know if the make the kit for the sedan, i hope so.
CJW
looks good. You doing any performance or just show. Seems like it would drastically hurt your weight savings=bad performance

Regardless I like wide body kits. They look cool.
street_tuner87
the kit is all fiberglass, and i would be goin with a cf hood and trunk. lighten the interior. lightweight everything and major performance and show. and i know that it takes money but thats why i am in the top third auto program in the nation. i should make some money. hopefully, lol.
arden
eh, we all know neons can never be fast whistling.gif go for all show turned.gif
RX_fadeaway
im all for wide body kits too, i think u should go for body, performance, then interior.
street_tuner87
i just have to contact the company and see if they will fabricate the kit to fit a sedan model.
CJW
Adding fiberglass to a body is not lightweight. But it is a give and take thing. I personally think it makes it look nice, so I say you should try to do if you want to.
arden
maybe change the title of this thread to something along the lines of dealing with a potential body kit. i keep avoiding this thread because i keep thinking your asking us if you should gain weight personally lol
street_tuner87
lmao, sorry. i actually have enough personal weight, i amtrying to get rid of that, lol.
Matt
Dont get a fiberglass anything for your car eurothanie is the only smart desision! Sorry about spelling. but fiberglass cracks brakes and it very brital. Not a good idea for a body kit expessaly with all the cirbs and stuff around this area!

If you do get a Neon and you do get that kit, make sure you have enough cash to paint it before or SOON after you install it. Hopefully they still offer that kit by the time you get your Neon... :P

If you do, you are also required to get a wing that is a minimum of 12" off the car. :P

actually i think i am looking for a taurus(sp), lincoln ls v8, or a f150 shortbed. idk. i need to get an apartment and save up before i can think of a different car right now. i am currently flat broke. just got a new job first pay check commin next friday and its almost completly used already. and on top of needing an apartment i am getting married this summer, i might have something on the way, and i have more on the loan for my car than its worth right now... point is i am too busy and have to much on my mind to be thinking of what car i am getting let alone what i plan on doing to it. i am putting that stuff aside right now and am and taking care of the things that are more important. on a side note, i dont want a wing on any car i ever own. i dont rice, i race.
