I need to find a manual transmission for my car, i'm tired of no 3rd gear, as well as the way it keeps acting up.

update:
broken diff. vehicle runs, but does not go in any gear, lol.

so I need a transmission ASAP!!

if your willing to do some work, there is still a MTX with trans at the yard. looked like the trans was spared in the impact. bring a hack saw cuz your going to have to cut some metal away on the pass side, and its not going to be easy to get the bottom cross brace off but like i said, some work and you have a working tranny, or at the very least a good diff and spare ya some money at the shop

I have a stock diff laying around if you wanna buy it off me, you'll have to get the final drive from your tranny onto it though.

lemme think about it...before this happened I didn't have third at any rpm, so I have a feeling that I have more than just a syncro issue as well.

how much to rebuild??

I dont have time, it requires taking tolerances and etc to rebuilt which is way more time then I have.

well matt, his dad and myself pulled a trans out of a car at the yard yesterday to get a CPS housing for my swap. I gave brad a call and he came and bought the transmission this morning. I guess problem solved! Topic closed for now
